drill and turnout
I love drill personally, as said by alot of people, its a pill thats to be taken at least twice a day.
military knowledge
Its kinda boring lesson, and isnt easy to make it fun
fieldcraft
Fieldcraft can be fun, and i like it, thought its 90% hands on, and you cant always get the facilities to do that
skill at arms
My favourite by far, The first time i got my hands on the L98 A2 i easily got up to date with the drills, and have since then taught the lesson to other cadets
shooting
Meh, i like shooting, just not good at it, only shot a 160 with the No.8 last time
map and compass
Boring but essential, good lesson if taught well
expedition training
Easiest lesson to teach i find, not that difficult and is fun sometimes
first aid
I like first aid, its fun and even when your only doing fake simulations, with all the fake blood and stuff its nice to get your heart slightly pumping
physical training
PT, mmmm Love it,
cadet in the community
Can this be counted as an APC subject tbh? I think i passed mine till 4* with the amount of bag packing i did this year!

Cool

Got to be Field Craft for me...

Putting all that structured learning into good practice out in the field agaist all the elements.

For me it's Map and Compass first, closely followed by Skills at Arms.

Like First Aid, Map and Compass is something you can use outside of cadets; once you know how to navigate with a map and compass you'll never be lost again.

I really enjoy Skills at Arms because, as someone else has said, it's a technical subject and I enjoy seeing the cadets getting it right.

Least favourites - none in particular, just boring unimaginative lessons which bore the pants off the cadets participating in them.

I enjoy it all really.

it has to be fieldcraft for me. its what makes us what we are. if you dont like it then join the sea cadets. but i would rather spend three nights eating shite food, sleeping in the same place and lugging around kit than partying.
