Heretic just means, an unbeliver or non-conformist. But it gets dressed up lots more by the Christian churches into something bigger.

Map and compass is not my favorite subject, but it means a lot when out on the field. Without it cadets would be walking into minefields and lakes.

im indifferent to it. i can do it, i can teach it with enthusiasm, but i wouldnt say i have to clean up after being told i have to do it.

its needed, im good at it, its just not my favourite. (thats drill and mil history obviously)

May be not.

But in the ACF every officer is advised to have a cadet attached to the bottom of it.
