Just had a look through the thread and jotted down some of the punishments i think are suitable for NCO's to give out.
I do like the post someone put about the Do's and Dont's. Made intresting reading i must say. Polishing boots in the stores seems good to me. Now i just have to match the punishments to the crimes that they usually commit... then dish them out to whoever the lucky victims are ![]() |

Actually, thats quite good, Cleaning the kit in the stores. I shall suggest that to my SNCO, if we ever get stores that is.

Whats wrong with hanging them by their ankles from the yardarm?
![]() Punishment in our unit is to subject cadets to a 'talk' from the CO which usually involved Canada ![]()

, it's the worse thing when mummy and daddy get involved, i've seen it happen and it is horrific. (Little missy abuses other missy, little missy gets a slap for her troubles, little missy gets parents down to unit who start having a go at other missy whilst squaring up to her whilst little missy is intervieved by det commander. a few nco's and myself step in between and almost get headbutted :/ not a good day.)How do you manage to cover annual insurance and buying stores and other bits and bobs without the twice weekly income? Our det charges £1 a night and we take about £60-80 a week in subs.

We do not do subs - We make enough money from NAAFI.
Pennys make pounds, pounds get extras for benifit of cadets.

we charge £50 per night - as we are a 'small' unit we don't make a hell of a lot through NAAFI - but once you get to 4star you have the option to either get annual camp and subs paid for and pay for your own weekends, or pay for subs and get annual camp and weekends paid for... personally I chose not to pay subs...
some units in the county charge £1 a night (or £2 a week) and i think their was one that used to charge £2 a night!!! but that changed pretty sharpish...

Twice a week, 40 weeks a year?
£400? Do you get First Class Flight Transfers between training areas?

When I was a cadet they flittered between 50p and £1 a night, we did only parade once a week though.
In the end this system was abolished. Why should we charge cadets to enjoy themselves?
