Leave him alone ! Luke you are a total kit monster but its not a bad thing, better than hanging round street corners in a hoodie drinking cheep booze from tesco ! As long as you understand you may not wear this stuff very often.

Well your wrong :P

I know atleast 4 people in the ACF with Barrack Dress. Tbh, its not a waste of money because I am going to get my money's worth out of it!

Wearing it at detachment and what not. So :P

There is NOTHING wrong with Barrack Dress, No2 dress, No8 dress. So lets just leave it at that. I like barrack dress (:

Exactly, proving that there's nothing wrong with either of them, so why can't I wear No.13's?

I think the main issue is one of uniformity, the vast majority of cadets at your det won't have barrack dress, so you won't all be wearing the same uniform. A possible exception could be if you are instructing drill.

Luke, I have no issue with you expressing your views, but try to be a little more mature in your approach, it certainly isn't mature to argue:
"Your wrong and I'm right, there is nothing you can do about it"

If you are getting value for money thats good, but in my view it isn't, because I would be the only person with this dress, so it wouldn't be remotely uniform, I would only use it twice a month and this to me doesn't justify to cost.

Not a chance :

1st place to Battle Dress Trousers
2nd place to 1968 Pattern No.2 Dress

Wearing either gives a nasty case of St Vitus Dance
